Lingling Fang

Lingling graduated from Dalian University of Technology (China) with a B.S. degree in Biotechnology where she was awarded 3 times a national scholarship. Prior to joining the Medina-Bolivar lab, she conducted graduate research on metabolic engineering of the acarbose and validamycin biosynthetic pathways at the State Key Laboratory of Microbial Metabolism of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Lingling joined the Medina-Bolivar team in 2013 where she is mainly involved in the peanut project by providing expertise on molecular cloning, enzymology, analysis and purification of natural products by HPLC and HPLC. She also assisted in the mentoring of several graduate students and undergraduate students.
