Saydul Karim earned his B.S. in Botany and Crop Science from Barishal University in Bangladesh. He then completed his first master's degree, an M.S. in Biotechnology at South Asian University in New Delhi, India. Currently, he is a graduate student in the Molecular Biosciences Graduate Program at Arkansas State University, and he works as a teaching assistant. His research focuses on the bioproduction of prenylated compounds in soybean hairy root cultures. In addition to his research, he enjoys playing badminton and traveling.
