Alexx Weaver

Alexx is from Lonoke, Arkansas and is currently an undergraduate student at Arkansas State University. She is studying to obtain degrees in both Biotechnology and Biology with a Pre-Professional emphasis. After graduating, Alexx plans to further her education by pursuing a Ph.D. in Microbiology and Infectious Disease. Within the Medina-Bolivar lab, she studies the anticancer properties of stilbenoids produced from hairy peanut roots on triple-negative breast cancer cell lines.
